Gaining status these days are the court reporters. They do not really work in court rooms and in fact this job is very ideal for people who can work best in the confinement and comforts of their homes. Court reporters do freelancing as well for such skills in reporting does not limit to court reporting only. One could work in a broadcasting company, provide closed captioning for hearing-impaired. Normally, court reporting schools offer around two to four years learning the basic skills. One requirement to become certified is a minimum speed in typing of 225 words per minute. Wow! No need for micro video cameras to monitor the progress.
